About the venue

The family that lived at the Hall where called the Gascoignes.  Peek into bedrooms, relax in the drawing room and imagine a fifteen course feast in the dining room.  The Gascogines were great collectors and the House contains a wonderful range of furniture, paintings, sculpture, silver, pottery and porcelain.

Outisde follow in the footsteps of Mrs Gwendolen Gascoigne who designed the beautiful gardens.  Red deer and rare breeds of cattle can be seen on walks through the parkland.

There is also an exotic Bird Garden home to 200 species from around the world.

Many family-friendly activities take place in the House and Gardens ranging from tepee games with the Rangers to tea-parties in the House. Ring for admission costs.
