The glittering final of the 5th annual Breeze Has Talent competition has been and gone and we now have our winners, yes The Amazing Scuba Divers played an amazing set and blew the judges away securing top place in the winners line up and that coveted spot on the Leeds Christmas Lights 2012 Switch On in Leeds City Centre on 8th November.

Breeze has Talent is the city's showcase for under 19’s and following a fantastic summer crammed with magical performances from the 29 qualifying acts who took part in the heats during Breeze on Tour, we have managed, with great difficulty, to select the 10 finalists.

There has been an impressive range of dance styles and music genres and the standard throughout the competition has been breath taking!

An amazing night we won't forget in a hurry celebrating the talents of young people from Leeds.

I attended the finals with my daughter Niamh on Sunday evening and she throughly enjoyed every second. It has inspired her to take part next year! The acts were fabulous and the set up was very organised - well done to the Breeze staff and the great judges which helped the real talent contest feel! Well done to all, it was a fab evening keep doing what your all doing - youre great!!
