I also have a problem with your ridiculously rigid height requirements, which seems to be a recurring problem for a variety of reasons. I wonder is it time to address this issue. Today I have attended Breeze with 2 boys age 6 and 7. We left without going on any inflatables after we were disapointed to find one around an inch or less above the red line, the other around an inch below. I would like to suggest a new system of height restriction where there could be some overlap between the heights which might allow for children who are close together in age and height but separated by your above/below the line policy to play together in one of the two zones. Maybe their could be two lines where if you are between the lines you can play in a particular zone, an overlap of say 3 inches would allow for children the same age but different heights to play together, or families with children who have children a year or two apart in age to be able to play together rather than there being a point where their heights prevent this and cause issue for parents or groups where children so close together in height are prevented from playing and enjoying breeze together by a band of tape around a stick! This would also allow for young children tall for their age or older children small for their age to play in appropriate areas. Surely you recognise not all children are the same.

How can I volunteer?
D 05/08/2014 22:15:14
What happens if it rains?
leighann 31/07/2014 18:50:45
While I understand height restrictions on proper rides I thought this was inappropriate for inflatables! Age restrictions would have been better. My daughters aged 4 and 6 were horrified that they couldnt go on any inflatables together as my 6 year old is tall and past the green line by about half an inch. Her friends her own age who was smaller could go on them so she felt left out and burst into tears. Most children waited in que right until it was there turn with shoes off and everything only to be turned away. We took her to the inflatables for her height only to find rough secondary school children and sixth formers in the ques. She clearly dwarfed them and found the obstacle course too big and hard. I didnt understand how bigger children could use the red labelled inflatables when they should clearly be blue. Other than this it would have been a brilliant day
Breeze 31/07/2014 15:34:43
Hello Kate, anyone can attend Breeze you dont have to live in Leeds, see you there :)
Breeze 31/07/2014 15:32:43
Hello Rachael, Yes you can bring your other children to the relaxed opening.
Contact us if you would like to book on for Roundhay Park or Kirkstall - Thanks
Kate 30/07/2014 08:42:06
Is it possible for friends to come to breeze on tour that live in Wakefield ie they will not have a breeze card? Or is it only open to leeds residents?? Thanks
Me 29/07/2014 10:36:20
got to be the worst website what a mess a kid could design it better its rubbish. its good for information only if you can find it its not child friendly why dont you bring out the breeze app or something simpler to search on and something that doesnt have so much going on in one page. you dont want to spend ages looking all over the page to find the information you want
Martin 28/07/2014 00:17:08
what time is temple newsam operating?
Rachael 25/07/2014 15:18:40
I understand mini breeze is at Bramley park tomorrow, is this correct as it is not on your list, if so what times is it there from/till.
Rachel 08/07/2014 19:57:44
I have a 17yr old with special needs, and was planning to take him to one of your relaxed openings. I just wondered if it's OK to bring my other two children as well?

Many thanks.
Breeze 01/07/2014 12:51:24
Hi Clare

because of reduced funding we rely on the local authority or schools or community centres booking us, so please mention to your local ward councillors that you would like to see us in your area and we're sure they will listen. There is Breeze on Tour in Kirkstall Abbey 13th and 14th August so we hope to see you there and do use our map search to see what else is going on in your area - there is stuff being added all the time, and do follow us on FB brzlds for the very latest across Leeds.
clare lyons 30/06/2014 12:52:07
we have no events going on in ireland wood leeds 16 could we be considered for future events thankyou there is nothing for the children to do
Breeze 15/06/2014 12:59:27
Hi Julie, we've just got a list of dates just finalized, I will add them this afternoon and we're sorry you've been searching high and low without success. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page too as we'll have more to add too in the coming weeks.
julie 15/06/2014 12:44:05
can some one please tell me how to find out where the mini breeze on tour will be this summer Please. gone from page to page and cant find it :(
Charlotte Lister 16/02/2014 15:22:52
I think that Breeze should do a breeze on tour at Scott hall playing fields. Last year they didn't do one there but from the past few years that they had done one there, There was so many people who went to it. In scott hall there isn't much to really do event wise and with breeze being there it really does make a difference in the holidays. I think many of the children in the area will agree :)
Just my opinion
taylor 21/09/2013 20:52:29
the mini breeze on the 21st needed a better directions as nobody even people there could not find it and only one inflatables was working for the older kids and no food facility's which would have been necessary as some people travelled from different areas so maybe a burger van would have be appreciated but the lady that did the arts and crafts (sam) and the nail lady was amazing. hope this helps for next time many thanks xxx
Atsushi 28/08/2013 13:41:49
Beautiful!! Wish I had learned about you eaeilrr. I just tonight came across your website and saw you offer the exact thing I'm looking for in your Holiday Mini Sessions for my young family. Any chance you have one last Mini session opening this year (or one that has opened up?)

David 14/08/2013 10:30:07
Can I take my dog to the Kirkstall Abbey event?
emma sirrell1 13/08/2013 09:25:57
i toke my kids to roundhay park, it was good except he's 7 yrs old but very small for his age,(he looks about 5) he could only go on the green activaties, which were great for 3 to 5 yr old but he was to big and fast for the children that were on them, quite a fer parents were panacing as my son was running and jumping quite a bit more than the smaller ones. i personaly think you height restrictions were wrong, the min hight should have been 1 meter. i wasn't the only one who had children small for there age, my son is more than capeable to play on the next colour, but the staff stuck to the rules and were very stricked, other wise we had a great day thanks
Breeze 08/08/2013 10:18:36
Apologies for the previous error. Roundhay Park event is on 7 and 8 August.
Rachel 08/08/2013 10:12:46

Daniella 07/08/2013 19:35:06

I go to Breeze on tour at Temple Newsam every year and it is so good but it's too easy for me now i wish there was more challenging things for teens.
emma 21/07/2012 09:16:29
saw all the mini breeze dates on a giant poster on the bus - so we planned all our 6 week holiday planning around breeze at cross flats park on the 3rd and 4th august to our planning for us to find out they've changed this - six hundred copies of holiday club planning gone out - money wasted, children let down !
Anna 18/07/2012 20:10:00
When's Breeze at Scott Hall Fields?
Connor 18/07/2012 17:48:09

We will be at John Charles on the 15th and 16th August and there will be extra activities there to celebrate the Olympics. Hope to see you there!

Breeze on Tour and Mini Breeze are both for ALL AGES 0 to 19. Mini Breeze is simply smaller in size than breeze on tour, nothing to do with ages. There is loads of stuff in the play zone for the little ones as well as all the bigger stuff for older kids.

It's for all the family!

Krista Daisy 03/08/2011 01:36:51
Hii look out for me tomorrow on the Breeze tour at 2-3 ish at Temple Newsam I would Love some support and if you like my music you can find me in SoundCloud, Twitter and Facebook :) x

DJ 23/07/2011 12:01:57
No Breeze events in Rawdon this summer?!
Breeze on Tour Team 20/07/2011 10:30:07
We would have loved to have brought a Mini Breeze event to Morley this year. Because of reduced funding we don't have a central budget, we have relied on localised funding to bring a Mini Breeze to different communities across the City. Morley and the surrounding area has a fantastic varied programme put together to provide local young people opportunities to get out and about this summer, check out the Breeze website and your local cluster activity booklet. We hope to see you at our other Breeze on Tour events

Best Wishes

The Breeze Team
Diane 19/07/2011 22:50:06
