Breeze has Talent 2013
A new wave balladeer Kirsty’s rock lyrics paint dark stories set to a kicking beat - riveting!
Sam’s easy smooth as silk vocals float over a driving beat.
Dylan’s lyrics, off beat rhythm, relaxed style and uplifting sound wafted through our summer.

Breeze would like to give everyone that auditioned for us in June a massive round of applause, the talent on show was outstanding and it was extremely difficult for the Judges to make their decision on who should go through to heats (held at Breeze on Tour during the summer) to then go through to the grand finale. The winner of Breeze has Talent will perform live on stage at the Leeds Christmas Lights switch on! The 1st Place act will also receive prizes worth £300* - the 2nd Place act will receive prizes worth £200* - and the 3rd Place act will receive prizes worth £100*.
Leeds City Council will also be working in partnership with Trinity Leeds and their partners to offer performance opportunities all year round. Last year's winners The Amazing Scuba Divers, Maia Broughton and Distorted Sky all performed on the CBBC Main Stage on Millennium Square in July.

Breeze has Talent is open to ALL young people living within the Leeds Metropolitan boundaries and aged between 8 – 19. This includes any young people who have taken part in previous Breeze has Talent competitions. If an act has members living outside Leeds, we accept the application providing at least half the members are from within the Leeds area.
Please remember: the aim of Breeze has Talent is to offer young performers the chance to develop skills and confidence by taking part in a friendly competition that we hope is fun but also challenging – it isn’t just about winning!
*Leeds City Council is unable to offer prizes in cash. What we can do – and this is where we can really help you in your performing career – is to help buy you the things you need as a performer. This could be things like buying items of musical equipment, stage costume, paying for rehearsal space or time in a recording studio, paying for a dance teacher or singing coach, putting together a website, or even travel and tickets to performances – almost anything that will help you with your performing ambitions!
