Countryside Rangers

Leeds City Council Parks and Countryside Rangers work to promote and protect wildlife and green spaces in your local area. Their work focuses on nature conservation sites that are managed for the benefit of wildlife.
There are over 150 of these in Leeds, ranging from the beautiful wildflower meadows of Townclose Hills to the ancient oak woodlands of Middleton Woods and the moors and crags of Otley Chevin.

The work of the Parks and Countryside Ranger team is varied and changes with the seasons, read more about it here. Download a copy of their latest booklet of spring and summer activities. Visit their facebook page. Back to BreezeActive
