Breeze Festival Management Team 2011

We are the Breeze Festival Management Team 2011 and we are a group of young people aged 13 to 19 from Leeds who meet regularly to plan events around the city for all the young people out there . So far we have been to the AMP awards looking at acts for this years festival. We have also been to the Leeds Young People's Film Festival gaining experience as a management team and getting ideas on how to make BIYF 2011 the best yet. Hi my name is Ann and I am the Breeze International Youth Festival Director and I am currently working in Arts & Regeneration for Leeds City Council. I am working with the BF MT who are programming and event managing Briggate Live! and the Carriageworks Live! I love going to the theatre and gigs. If I had a superpower it would be to fly!! My future plan is to programme Glastonbury.

My name is Cambell Knowles I'm 13. My superpower would be regeneration. My dream is winning Britain’s got talent . I'm in BF MT to build my confidence and to help back stage. In the future I want to be a famous singer, actor and/or comedian.

My name is Delon SuperMan Ndlovu I'm 18. My superpower would be to fly faster than I can now. I joined BF MT to gain more experience in working in groups to sharpen me for my course at the University. My dream is to be a Missionary.

My name is Jess I'm 16. I hope to be managing events for big name celebrities in the future and raking in the cash ;). I joined the BF MT so that I could gain further experience in events management as I intend to pursue it as a career. Working with the BF MT has been a great experience and building my contacts by working with performers and people back stage is a bonus.

My name is Liam Hudson I'm 15. I hope to move to London and work for the big theatre. I joined BF MT to gain more experience in theatre and learn more about the backstage area. My dream is to make it big in technical theatre.
My name is Lucy Woodhead I'm 16. I hope to become a music manager or start my own record label. I joined BF MT to gain experience and insight into organising big events. My superpower would be to read people's minds. My dream is to be the pianist in Michael Buble's band.

Hi, my name is Rania, I’m 13 years of age and my dream would be to compete in the Olympics as a netball player (when it’s IN the Olympics). If I had a super power it would be invisibility; when I’m older I would like to be a successful actress, architect or netball: D I joined BFM because I thought it would be a good opportunity and it sounded very interesting.

Hey I’m Sam, I’m 19. My dreams for the future are to become a Japanese manga artist or a librarian… I’m not sure.I like Cosplaying, Dancing and Reading Manga and Comics. My favourite super hero is Night Crawler. I joined BF MT through working at the Town Hall and because I love helping people and want to make Leeds a great place for young people like me.

Hey! My name is Tasha, I’m 13yrs old and I think BIYF is awesome. I joined the team because I wanted to be part of the organisation part of theatre and staging instead of performing all the time. If I had to be anything I would be a vampire with wings and have the power of necromancy (shadow magic). In the future I want to be an actress but right now I’m writing a book called ‘As Free As Spirit’.

I'm Liz and I help all the BF MT to deliver their programme. I enjoy reading, traveling, watching animes and if I had a superpower, I'd be able to grant unlimited wishes! My first wish would be to re-do my avatar! :) Back to the top Back to BIYF 2011 page
