About the FestivalThe Breeze International Youth Festival takes place every year across the city. Organised by Leeds City Council, the Breeze International Youth Festival works with Leeds High schools, international schools, community groups and cultural organisations to provide a unique experience for young people. The Festival aims to provide a range of new experiences and activities - from capoeira to collage, and physical theatre to film. It gives young people the chance to learn new skills from the experts and to make new friends! |

2008 Festival16 June – 4 July 2008 This year\'s Breeze International Youth Festival is running from 16 June – 4 July 2008. During this time, Breeze will have taster sessions in schools, play host to two hundred international guests and will be supporting The Shine Festival - the UK’s National Schools Festival, which celebrates and showcases the talents of all young people. But what Breeze Headquarters is really excited about is the Breeze Weekend Extravaganza. On the weekend of Friday 27 – Monday 30 June, Breeze International Youth Festival brings all you Breezecard holders a variety of exciting events and activities in Leeds City Centre. From dancing, drama, drawing and djing to Breezecard discounts at the theatre, museums and parks. Its your chance to take over the city and celebrate the best of Leeds. Hungry for more?
