Breezecard
How old do you have to be to get a Breezecard and do I have to live in Leeds?
Breezecards are available to anyone 0 to 18 and anyone in the United Kingdom can apply for a Breezecard.
I want to get a Breezecard.  How do I go about applying for one and how much does it cost?
Breezecards are available to all under 19s and are free. Simply click on the \'get a breezecard\' tab and complete all your details. Your card will then be posted out to you in a few days.
I\'ve lost my Breezecard.  How do I get a replacement?
To get a replacement Breezecard simply call the Breezecard office between 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday on 0113 2243636 or fill in the \'contact us\' page with your full details and in the message ask to be sent a replacement Breezecard. Please note replacement Breezecards will not be given out in a different colour from when you first applied - you can only have one colour card.
How long will it take to get my Breezecard?
It usually only takes 3 to 4 working days to receive your Breezecard if you have applied online. If you handed in your application to a sport centre or library it will take a little longer.
What discounts do you get with a Breezecard?
Breezecard offers discount at all Leeds City Council Leisure Centres on most of the pay and play activities (but not courses), click here to see a full list of activities and the discounted prices. You can also use your Breezecard as a library card, just take along your Breezecard to your local library, if you are under 16 your parent or guardian will need to come too with proof of identification and address on the first time or if you are over 16 you will need to take proof of address and identification for yourself. All you do is ask the library assistant to make your Breezecard into a library card and register - after that you only need to take the one card with you.Breezecard also gets you discount at some of the shops and visitor attractions in Leeds such as Thackray Musuem, Royal Armouries and many more. VIB Area
How do I get a password for the VIB area?
If you have not already set yourself up with a password for the VIB area click here to enter one. All you needis your Breezecard to hand. You will be asked to enter your Breezecard number (on the front of your card beneath your name) - make sure you do not enter the first two letters (ZY or ZS) only enter the 8 numbers and your name exactly as it is spelt on your card. You will then be asked to read the terms and conditions and agree and then enter your email address and choose yourself a password.
I can not log into the VIB area, what do I do?
Have you set yourself up with a password yet? If not click here to learn how to do this.If you are having difficulties entering your Breezecard number (on the front of your card beneath your name) please leave off the first two letters (ZY or ZS) and just enter the eight numbers. If you can not remember your password then you can call the Breeze helpline on 0113 2243539 between 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday or email breeze@leeds.gov.uk or use the contact us form by clicking here.
What do I do if I have not got an email address?
Do not worry Breeze only asks for an email address on the Breezecard application and when signing up to the VIB area so we can email you about Breeze news, competitions and events. If you want to set up an email address to get Breeze emails there are many ways to do it at www.hotmail.co.uk or www.yahoo.co.uk but ask a parent or carer to help you first!

Where can I get a printed list of Breeze events?
Breeze gets its information on events from lots of different places so unfortunately there is not one printed booklet on what is going on in Leeds. Breeze does produce magazines a couple of times a year with a summary of the biggest events that are going on. To view the latest issue you need to log on to the VIB area. To learn how to do this click here.If you want to know what is going on at the Sports Centres each centre produce their own Holiday Programmes and to get one of them you need to contact your nearest centre. How do I find out if I have won the competition?
All competition winners are informed from Breeze either by phone or in writing 2 weeks after the closing date.
How do I apply for a job or get work experience with Breeze?
All jobs with Breeze are advertised through Leeds City Council. You can either go online to www.leeds.gov.uk/vacancies every Thursday or they are advertised in the Yorkshire Evening Post.
