Children's Saturday Dance Classes at Northern School of Contemporary Dance

Saturday School is a series of classes for children aged between 7-12 years who want to have fun, develop confidence and channel energy into creativity. The classes introduce children to contemporary dance technique and creative work. Over the year the children will create work that they will perform at The Riley Theatre.

The classes are hugely popular and currently there is a waiting list to enrol for most of the classes. We endeavour to accommodate as many children as possible and try to keep waiting for a place down to a minimum. In most cases we are able to offer an annual September entry although we are sometimes able to offer places in January as well.
