Leeds Schools' String Orchestra

This group is for string players and practices every Friday in term-time.

We play a broad range of music from classical to folk via pop and music from the shows as well as the orchestra’s own arrangements and compositions.  We play violin, viola, cello and double bass.  Our conductors are Ruth Wild and Linda Town.

We play at around Grade 3 level for violins and cellos, but our conductors are flexible especially for viola and double bass players.  Our group age ranges from nine to fifteen years old.

If you think this might be the group for you, give us a call on 0113 230 4074 or email rosie.parsons@leeds.gov.uk to let us know and find out more.  You can come and play or watch a rehearsal any time in the year, we always welcome new members.
