Anyone with an interest in taking up or progressing with this sport should call down and spend some time at our boxing gym &ndash; you&rsquo;ll be taught by coaches with top level experience, the place is smart and it's packed with the right equipment - it's also packed with camaraderie, friendship, teamwork and hard, hard work. Boxing has long been a major feature of The Hunslet Club and with great progress and achievement made by members who in time, have for example gone on to compete for the country at The Commonwealth Games. Two of our boxers in recent years have gone professional and won numerous titles. There is much up and coming talent to be found here on an evening. Cheerleading in Hunslet

Location: The Hunslet Club

Cheerleading uses organised routines made up from bits of gymnastics, dance, jumps, tumbling and stunts. Performing is really good fun as you get to wow the crowds and get a great reaction to your show of skills. Plus its great for helping you keep fit and make new friends. You&rsquo;ll have the chance to enter dance competitions for different age groups, and you&rsquo;ll be taught by fully qualified cheerleading and dance coaches (NCSSE LEVELS 1-2-3-4 and masters level) who specialise in cheer dance stunt and tumbling. East Leeds Youth Theatre

East Leeds Youth Theatre creates 2 performances a year exploring issues and themes that are important to the children, young people and their families. We perform in the local area but also in venues around the city. We go on trips like going to the theatre, visiting Leeds museum, art gallery and party in the park. Expression Youth Arts Festival

The second year of this fabulous Seacroft &amp; Manston festival promises to be even bigger and better. There are loads of art, dance, drama, music, photography, radio, video, DJing workshops for you, your friends and family to watch and take part in.&nbsp; There's no entrance fee and all the activities are free.&nbsp; Expression is held at the David Young Community Academy, Bishop's Way, off North Parkway, Seacroft, Leeds, LS14 6NU.&nbsp;&nbsp; Minibuses will collect from Whinmoor, Swarcliffe, Manston and Crossgates through the afternoon. Football 4 Tots in Hunslet

Location: The Hunslet Club

The Hunslet Club has launched a programme of &quot;football for tots&quot; training for the youngest stars of tomorrow &ndash; aged as young as eighteen months old! &quot;Football 4 Tots&quot; allows parents to join in with having fun alongside their growing young children with an emphasis on enjoyment and gentle exercise. We have team age groups from reception class up to year 7 at school. Anyone is welcome to come along and join in with the training at our top class facilities, even if you don&rsquo;t want to play for a team we are happy for you to get fit, meet new friends and learn new skills. Our teams compete in the Garforth Junior League. We are a flagship community partner to Leeds Utd FC and an FA Charter Standard Club and are signed up as part of the FA Respect Campaign to combat unacceptable behaviour in the game at every level - on the pitch and from the sidelines.
