Chapel FM Open Day

Are you aged 11-18, from East Leeds and are interested in radio, broadcasting, music, technology and creative writing?

Chapel FM is hosting an Open Day on Saturday 8th October between 1 and 4pm. This will be an opportunity for young people and parents, to find out a little more about Chapel FM and get a taster of what to expect from each of the Next Generation courses. Please feel free to drop at anytime between 1 and 4pm.
 
Arts training for young people

“ChapelFM - it’s a place to try new things” Rebekah

Chapel FM will be running another series of arts courses for young people from East Leeds (11-18 years old). The Next Generation courses run for 6 months, one night a week between 5-7pm. You get a chance to get a Bronze or Silver Arts Award and it only costs a one-off £30 fee.

Next Gen Foundation (Wednesdays) A chance to get a taste of everything we do at Chapel FM from performing music to creative writing and, of course, making radio shows.

Next Gen Broadcasting (Thursdays) Take to the airwaves with a range of presenting, interview, technical and DJ skills that will allow you to develop your broadcasting abilities and produce your own shows.

Next Gen Music (Tuesdays) Develop your musical ideas and improve your on-stage skills through making music with new people & performing at Chapel FM.

Next Gen Music Tech (Runs one Monday a month plus full days in holidays) Embrace your geeky side learning how to use equipment to be creative; recording music and running live sound for talented local artists.
